Cessna pilot questioned after APEC airspace breach

The pilot behind a security scare in Sydney airspace this afternoon is
being questioned by authorities.
A small Cessna aircraft had to be escorted by two F/A-18 Defence fighter
jets into Sydney's Bankstown...

He actually filed a flight plan and got permission to fly today, but he
left 4 hours earlier than advised, so yes, he is an idiot.

He had approval for the flight, issued 2 months ago, however, the
authority was not given for the time he went, which was 4 hours earlier
than the approved time.

Would they have not know about all the restrictions & advised him
accordingly before being escorted off the premises by a couple of FA18's?

Me too - he's already been crucified in here as an idiot by those who
have no idea of the particular circumstances, timing of the approval for
his flight plan etc
