Yes, IIRC the Taxi adverises sub 10 minutes but she does mid 8 min laps
easy peasy.
Far be it for a humble being like myself to boast but at one time I was
actually lapping the 'Ring faster than Sabine. And that was in a plain
vanilla rental manual E30 318i!!!!
Of course that *was* just a year or two before she made her
first ever lap (unlicensed) when at age 17 she "borrowed" her Mum's
wagen. Since then she's done an estimated 20,000 laps and I've done
.....mumble.
Your estimate of 13 minutes for a mug punter is probably close to the
money - think I took 12:47 back then in the early '80s. Been around many
times since in other BMWs, Benzs and Audis but don't ever clock myself
or try to break any records or my neck. Entering the Karussell at speed
can be a life changing experience.
As Sabine says "Never enter Karussell when on the brakes! I have gone
round there on the roof, I know what I'm talking about."
There's photos of her style in the old E39 M5 here -

Nowadays the Taxi is the very impressive E60 V10 with 500+HP. There are
actually two of them - Hans-Joachim Stuck of some renown, drives the
other plus there is a spare car in the very good museum adjacent to the
F1 Nürburgring track.
They are booked out for up to a year in advance - believe me I've tried.
