on the midnight trip over to sydney in the 747 I had the seat inflight
entertainment tuned to the navigation display. about swan hill by my
reckoning the bug pointed south and the track looked decidedly...

Positive report. What's more, that was one reason, I stopped traveling
Ansett they way they treated passengers. Never looked back. Ill travel
JA in Star international as its the same pricing as QA cattle.

I fly QANTAS simply because its too much hassle traveling internal with
anyone else.

Fare prices are reasonable if you book early and when the specials come
on its not all that much cheaper.

As for the service, it has declined, but still better that no service
offered by JA or VB in cattle - JA star class which offer meals and
comfort things is the same service as Economy on QANTAS but bigger seats.

thats not what I'm finding.
I do think that the inflight entertainment is less interesting than it
used to be.

It seems to reflect a belief that security is more about quantity than
quality. The people on the plane have already been security cleared.
What's the point of doing it again?

If by chance I'd managed to smuggle a weapon or bomb onto an aircraft,
and then discovered that I was going to be required to get off the plane
and go through security again before reboarding, I think I'd... Oh, I
don't know... maybe leave the offending item on board.

Still, I suppose it gives security an extra chance to catch people
who've inadvertently carried a nail file with them.
