QF Stop Work Meetings

Just noticed news flash on that dreaded Shynews, that the QF engineers are
meeting over the weekend to discuss tactics, presumably over how best to
bring QF to it's knees and how best to &%%$#@ up passenger's flight
arrangements and lives!
One wonders how, for instance QF feels, about allowing Pax who are booked
on flights tomorrow & Sunday to receive an instant re-imbursement of their
fares so Pax can get on with their lives and book/travel on other airlines
who are not affected by events? After all it's not the Pax's fault is it?

Look at yesterdays delays on international flights - 4hrs even this had
a effect on connecting flights.

The engineers have been paid too well for too long. Now their kicking.

It would seem for a company to succeed by absorbing costs and trimming
expenses - isn't it everyones responsibility to ensure the smooth running.

If the takeover had succeeded there would possibly be no QANTAS and no jobs.

True, you did!

Alas one pays to get from A to B, as indicated on your ticket and not as per
the wishes of stroking err striking 'engineers'. The fact that these people
can hold legitimate travellers to ransom, is of some concern to me.
I am sure though, that Kevin Silverbullet can fix it all, he'd have a plan
and will most probably leak it to cabinet. am not blaming Kevin mind you,
just the Union concerned and some of it's members.

up to you now GB.
