Why? There's nothing particularly dangerous about going down an escape
slide, especially when there's no urgency. The airline would be
seriously annoyed of course, but only because of the cost and
disruption. Next time they'd learn to be more proactive about dealing
with these situations. People cannot lawfully be detained merely because
it's convenient.
