Hi Phil

Pretty standard winter. Nice sunny days interspersed with highland snow
days and thankfully a bit of rain. Nowhere near as heavy as 20-30 years
ago though when we used to see 5 meters of snow in the height of the
season on Mt Wellington.

Flew with a mate yesterday to Bathurst Harbour over Lake Pedder. WOW it
was just fantastic. All the mountains with good snow and a perfect day
with no wind and totally clear skies. It was as good as it gets! Never
landed at Bathurst Harbour in nil wind before. It usually blows 25kts +.

Flew SQ to China and back last year. Never hit a thing. They leave QF
for dead in the service stakes.
