Jetstar are advertising that they won an award for having the best
cabin crew. I can't imagine what the criteria were - their cabin crew
goes through the cabin selling stuff then disappears. Just what you
pay for with Jetstar, I guess, but hardly award winning.
I wonder whether Jetstar will survive. Qantas must be just about the
last full-service airline in the world to continue to run a budget
offshoot. UA have just dropped TED. I don't know anyone who has done
it well - it just seems to be such a different way of running a
business that no-one can manage it.
Interesting times...

GB and I both voted.
That's how they won these awards.

An interesting point, looking up QANTAS site for available flights you
will also find Jetstar pricing, generally the prices are higher than QANTAS.

We are doing an around-the-pacific on Qaintarse FF points, and the sector from
Honolulu back to Siddley is being provided by Jetstar. Obviously the same
points burned as if on a real airline. Somewhat pissed off.

If you fly Jetstar on a Qantas ticket, you get a free meal, blanket
and such (whoopee!) but if you fly Jetstar using Qantas FF points you
don't.
