At first glance it looks like a Tomahawk without the T-tail. Otherwise
it's the first i've heard of it and looks like a good little machine. I'm
also in the market and had considered buying a small trainer and doing an
instructor rating.

One part of the financials that strikes me as odd is the cost of insurance.

Are they saying the cost of annual insurance is $44,250? Surely I'm
reading it incorrectly. I would have thought that $7 or $8 per hour is far
more relistic.

Hmm......... So why does everyone else use 2024-T3 Alclad?

I was reading the wrong column. I read "Costs per hour flown". I'll blame
it on the fact I wasn't wearing my goggles.

probably because of the fatigue characteristics of 6061. although
chris heintz uses the stuff for hinges on one of his designs, he makes
the upper aileron skin flex as the hinge, so go figure.

I do wish that whitney would get himself a decent stylist. he designs
some of the most butt ugly aircraft in history. the boomerang's
cockpit area looks positively soviet.
