How long have Qantas been flying B737-300's from the USA? I am glad I
was shipped by 747's when I flew. In fact I would almost swear that QF
had disposed of their 737-300's but am obviously wrong. Well done to
West Aussie print media!

I am afraid QF is in for a long period of media bashing that won't go
away until something important happens to get rid of the focus. Every
minor happening will be headlines by the look of it and with the press
so accurate the information will be pretty shitty to say the least.

Well, all 737's did originate in the USA. From Seattle :)

What's your point?

News to me that Qantas flew 737-300s from the USA to Australia. Also
somewhat unusual would be a 737 of any sort with as many as 7 toilets.
Somehow I think it MAY have been a 747-300 they were talking about, but even
then it should have had more than 7 toilets all up (working or non-working).
The Sydney Morning Herald also got it wrong this morning.

Regards

"The problems cap off a string of incidents involving the Qantas fleet
since an explosion ripped a hole in the fuselage of a Qantas jet en
route from Hong Kong to Melbourne, forcing an emergency landing at
Manila, on July 25."
