I saw an article in the local paper about how all students in the Aviation
program at some local high school get a flight on Skywest where they get to
witness the preflight stuff and then ride in the cockpit jump seat for the
flight. Surprised to see an airline in this day and age letting civilians
(and high school students no less) ride in the cockpit of an airplane on an
actual revenue flight.
