Gday Chris. You make good points . However, I still reckon mucking
about in a cockpit is just not professional .

You are correct hands and feet appear no where near controls in the
cited photos . I was not there so can not say what happened one way or
another
in between shots .

CRM touches on team building who knows why the situation arose.
We all appear to assume Command pilot was out having a zizz - I have
no idea .
That is teh job of any later review.
What I DO agree with you on is whomever released these photos to the
media should be introduced to the airflow at about 20,000 feet no ox
or chute

Even here on AA many with inside knowledge stay their hand far more
appropriately than the low mongrel dog who gave these photos to the
media ..

I said bloody heck (perhaps a tad too quickly) as it is just not
done simple as that
where does professionalism start or end ? Do we muck about with check
lists or do them by the book ? Do we act in other less procedural
fashion because it is fun ?

What would happen if something serious happened at the moment the
camer shutter was pressed ? That is my question.

Ok I am just an old grumpy Now days non pilot maybe things have
changed since I was . But it was a flogging offence to be any thing
less than professional when strapping mechanical bits to your back .
Being mechanical bits designed and made by humans they can and do
kill people .

but I am still alive (and used to collect 225's occasionally )
Turning to your other web "cite" what can I say ?
Except nice tits the rest (to me) is so bloody obvious and also
NOT on . But the Gallic form of team building perhaps belongs on the
ground .
