Does anyone here know if there any PPL flight training schools in Australia
or NZ which have authorised UK CAA / JAA examiners? Its winter time in the
UK now with good flying days getting fewer so am thinking of possibilities
of doing PPL there.

Thanks,
John

I would very much doubt it. Last time I enquired, an Australian licence was swappable after
sitting an 'Air Law' examination in the UK

stealth pilot is right, The West Australian Aviation College in
Jandakot is the only Flight school that does the JAA. You do your PPL
and CPL in jandakot and then head to London heathrow to do your APL.

You can only get a PPL under Australian rules, and Australia has a
reciprocal agreement with the UK where they will issue you with a UK PPL
based on your Australian PPL. You may have to pass an air legislation exam,
but it's no big deal.
