Its over - end of a era

Tonight one of the most sweetest things happened.

The end of a era.

In Australia Liberals was wiped from power and John Howard gone
forever. After 11.5years the nightmare of his lawyer lead government
has finally been destroyed for once and all.

Soon we will see less deaths in iraq and less death world wide as
Australia begins to re-relate to the normal world and not suck up to
the USA only.

This will help our over stretched RAAF and ADF redeploy to a
protective force and not be used as a offensive force.

We have lost already 3 ADF people in afgahnistan this last few weeks -
sadly SAS, Commando and other. This all happened on Howards watch and
he paid the price. Australians dont want to see any more of our dead.

We will now not be so up the US backside but on our on terms.

Only taken 11.5yrs.

Is thast a bad thing.
Granted the Militant ones are not good but on the whole, aren't the majority
of the unions
supposed to be a good thing.
Not that I have ever really supported unions myself (been involved in one
useless one SDA and 3 months in a militant one which was a hell of an
experience and an eye opener but was great for not having to do any work)
but I can see the benefit for those that can't fight for themselves.
It's just a shame that the militant ones get all the attention and detract
from the others...

Idiot.

Neither the RAAF, nor the ADF, as "forces" are stretched.

The C130s are busy, as are the P3s, but the Hornets and F111s are
practically idle.

The Army has barely a Battalion's worth of troops deployed.

Peddle your nonsense elsewhere.
