"The NRL premiership trophy will be delivered on board a black hawk
helicopter in support of Australian Defence Forces."

I assume they mean in front of the assembled crowd.
I can't help feeling that this is really not a good idea. Things can and
do go wrong with helicopters during landing and takeoff, and needlessly
doing this near a large number of closely packed people just seems
asking for trouble.
What happens if the 'copter tips over and looses a blade (and don't tell
me it doesn't happen)? How many people can one of those cut in half?
Sylvia.

I remember about 20 years ago they used a jetranger to dry the ground, I
think it was the old Sydney Football ground at Moore Park.

Even more to the point - it's a *rugby* match, there'll only be the
proverbial two men and a dog there to *be* hit.
