Geoff Dixon is really a nice guy with such a big heart.
He has promised to give his $60 million bribe offered by Macbank to charity,
but that is a charity he will setup after he retires from Mcroo Airlines in
3 years time, yes not give to them straightaway no, in 3 years time.

Now lets see $60 million invested over 3 years................... holyshit
thats a lot of interest.
He really has such a big heart doesn't he ?

Tim, you're such a cynic.....

The Geoff Dixon Foundation will also attract tax concessions for the
operator (it IS a charity after all).

It's a popular move by retired sportsmen and celebrities who don't want to
live in Barbados.

Hi Tim,

Would you please refer me/us to you information source?

As I read it,

Geoff Dixon does not get the money now. If the airline meets stated
performance objectives then he receives the money from the Long Term
Incentive Scheme. So, he does not have the money to invest nor gain
taxable interest from

"Depending on whether the airline meets its performance hurdles this
could deliver Mr Dixon up to $60 million as part of the Long-Term
Incentive Scheme (LTIS), but all proceeds will go to charity he says."

Hello Stephen I am just quoting what has been said, and that is that Dixon
will get $60 million as part of the bribe or deal call it what you want,
that Macbank has given as part of this huge future F#@k up, which experts
warn will happen, what if we get another 9/11, another Sars outbreak, petrol
prices skyrocketing ???? Source a very long list of experts.
I%% to senior managers, and his cut is $60 million, which he said he will
donate to charity when he retires, 3 years time.
Source : Age, Australian, Finacial Review, ABC, 7 network, 9 network,
Skynews to name a few.

Do you think he deserves this ?
He has his job for 3 years, but he won't give a guarantee to his staff,
which really made Qantas such an attractive target any job security, he says
he will not breakup the airline Yeah right , and he says the consortium has
no plans for any Qantas Asset Sales yeah right , this whole thing is about
making already filthy rich people more rich, it has absolutely nothing to do
with improving Qantas, its all about Buy, Slash, selloff assets, screw loyal
staff after they looked after the airline in recent hard times, then relist
and hope that you make a shitload more money.
Source, just about any finacial analyst if you have read the papers.

You are not actually quoting anyone, you are giving your
interpretation of what you heard or read.

It does seem strange that the stories could vary by so much. I have
given you actual quotes and will stand by those quotes. I'm afraid
that naming a few newspapers/television stations without actually
quoting their copy does not prove anything to me.

I continue to be intrigued by the function of a PHSP Manager.
Is he a functionary in a Post office? You know, Packing, Handling, Stamps
and Postage.
