There seems to be a lot of people carrying bags, laptops etc. What happened
to the instruction to leave carry-on luggage on the aircraft when
evacuating?
If that thing had caught fire, even a delay of half a second caused by
someone grabbing their bag from under the seat could have cost lives.

This is quite chilling, as last night I was watching a few youtube vids on a
few approaches to Tegucigalpa and then this news today, amazing!
