I'm not surprised. If you ever have the chance to talk to a group of
journalism students, you find they know who is shacked up with who or
what in Hollywood and who is the flavour of the month entertainer, but
when it comes to general knowledge of anything technical, they just
don't have a clue. Sadly, they occasionally become the talking head
fronting a prime time programme and they still don't know anything
more than what they knew when they were students.
