The stealthy, but virtually unarmed, F35 can detect all it likes, the
fact is the Su35 can rip it to shreds and has done so in simulations.
If you're relying on superior detection systems to assist an inferior
plane beat a superior one - why not buy the superior plane in the
first place, especially as it costs only a fraction of the price of
the utterly incapable F35.

Whose Su35 would that be? Because if its *ours*, it will be perfectly
capable of detecting all it needs to detect.
And how does detecting something help in any way a plane that carries
virtually no weapons, is underpowered, and can barely maneuver?
