Weird thing yesterday.
Travel agent we use a lot refused to take money for tiger air
bookings.
She said we want to keep your business and gave a nets fare to go
with another carrier !! That is bloody good service .
When asked what's the problem with tiger she pulled out a file of
paperwork said complaints .
It appears from her take on things that a "substantial number" of
flights get cancelled and pax get stranded no form of compensation if
outside of Australia .
So I rang a few acquaintances who "know" such things and she is spot
on. If the yield indicates it wont be a revenue flight the hull stays
on the blocks !!! and they top up the next available aircraft on that
sector.
After shire of Exmouth effort was still a bit fired up thougt bugger
this - lets go through Tigers front door and ask the question.

Errr.... it's illegal record a telephone call without the knowledge and
consent of both participants.
There only exceptions are for calls made to emergency services and legal
interception by police etc if they have a warrant.

Don't tell us - tell the Met Bureau etc - and all the other places where you
hear the regular "beep" on your phone. It means (very sensibly) you're
being recorded.

If one of the participants is the person doing the recording, there is no
requirement to notify the other party.
