Dear Sir,

Later this month I will be visiting the Australia. Beside
seeing your country as such, I'm also (as aircraft
engineer) interested in the older, non flying, aviation.
I plan to some of the aviation museums and collections in
Australia.
I have been told that a De Havilland Vampire Jet aircraft is
stored in a trailer in the Holt area of your town and travels
through the country for displays.
I would like to ask you if you where this aircraft can be
found and if you maybe have an e-mail address to
contact the owner.
I hope you can help me with this odd request.

Regards,

Otger van der Kooij,
The Netherlands

Seems that there's not a great knowledge of this aircraft amongst the
locals, despite there not being too many buildings in Holt that could
actually hide it from public view.
