I was rather amused by the part of the show where Bones and Booth have
to ride a zero-g training aircraft because that's the only time the
astronaut to be questioned was available. After the 20 second zero-g
phase Bones says "I'd really like to do that again."
Well, Missy, you're going to. Many times. Did you imagine that the plane
takes off, does one 20 second push over, and then returns to base?

Why weren't you watching "Spiral" on SBS?
Or Gil Mayo on ABC?

And the writers don't know their turbines from their recips either - like
most TV series the first are usually the best then it's all downhill.

Me too, but that eposode had a few "issues" (I know, as
she-who-must-be-obeyed says, it's just a show) with reality.
- The dead guy owns a "Cessna Turboprop" but the A/C they see is a piston
twin
- As pointed out already, only one whupdedoo on a flight?
- Same zone, wombat guity party covers his mike and leans forward to talk to
people with cans over their ears!
- Aparantly the prop hit the dead guy in four places but damage is all over
the trailing edge not the tip!
- Why was the engin running with no-one in the cockpit?
:-)
Cheers,
David Varidel
