Hi all,

I would appreciate any information about the Blinman airstrip in South
Australia, in particular strip length, direction, surface condition,
gradient etc

Latitude 31º 07" 7.27'S Longitude 138º 43" 36.94'E

Any local knowledge would also be appreciated.

I have no knowledge of it at all, but you can see it on google earth
reasonably clearly, the main runway runs 220/040 and is approx 1150
m long using the ruler function. A smaller runway measures approx 515
m and runs 310/130 , the shorter runway is not so clear on google
earth., it may be longer than that, but the direction quoted above
will be pretty close.
the runway directions were calculated from the end of runway coords
from google earth using spherical trigonmetry equations and using the
magnetic variation of 7 degrees east, which can be obtained from the ...
