Anyone Following the Spanish Air Crash

Everything seems to point to the aircraft reaching the end of the
runway withyout flying speed ( for the flap setting) and being lifted
into the air only to stall and fall off on the right wing.

Any ideas? Low thrust? Wrong flaps? What was temperature gauge?
Hopefully not turbine temp!

The crash appears to have occured beside the runway, not off the end of it.

There was talk of an engine fire. A simple engine failure shouldn't down
the aircraft, but an uncontained failure could disrupt the elevator and
rudder controls.

All today's reports, and the airport tape, indicate no fire or
explosion until the right wing hit the ground after a lift off.

Survivor said "No explosion or engine noise, but plane appeared to be
slow."

Motions described appear to be a stall and roll to the right.

Another incorrectly calculated takeoff speed, like the SIA one at
Auckland recently discussed in this NG?

Have you looked at the size of that airport, heaps of room all around,
long runways. I should imagine that the weather was hot (summer) and the
altitude of that airport is at 2000ft.

Wild guessing like that will surely add to intelligent discussion.

It can lead to discussion about how likely those various errors are to
lead to the particular accident scenario.

I always thought that something followed by a question mark was actually a
question as opposed to a wild guess. What do you think ??
