It was obviously finished off by multiple strikes from a martian
quark inverter weapon either on the moon or direct from
the planetary defense nexus at Cydonia Base. The delay
is appropriate for Mars but I suspect they delayed a Lunar
strike to give the impression they had installed something
more than the Ophiuchan ZX on Mars.
The Martians can't possibly have done so , unless the
Ophiuchan resupply expected in 53 years has been fitted with
a previously unseen advanced propulsion system.
They are masters of deception, never do a thing
to resolve a question unless they can cause a dozen more to be raised.

the various sky religions engage in a new war
that distracts the US and the mars project gets scrapped.

The foil hat must be at least 10 layers thick, I have detected
they have ramped up the power on the orbital mind-control lasers lately.
They can now penetrate the old three plex blocks and reprogram the
standard dental implants overnight. More resistant personalities
are lately being retrofitted with more subtle controllers
that instead of scrambling inconvenient thoughts substitute
a more coherent continuous feeling of religious rapture, thus diverting them
directly into the ranks of the sky religions
