Good Morning John . And sincere thanks for an insightful and informed
post.

Any additional words of mine would be superfluous.
But sincere thanks for taking the time to contribute to this group
again .

Drop us a line off ng ( as I ditched your email addy & other details
in a vigorous clean up)
And as mentioned in another post , some feral animals out here could
do with some attention.

Pigs are becoming a problem again just up the track :(

Some even traveled down a few hundred clicks and decimated crops
over night (smart cunning Destructive buggers )

Acquired a 17 cal for the foxes as most got used to the whistles
and the .22 just did not have the legs (iron sights only also )

Emus and roos I never touch on principal unless hungry :)

I dont know if you have rabbits out your way (but I'm probably safe to
assume you do, as the little buggers get everywhere) but I used to have a
Ithica over/under combination .222/12 guage that was ideal for foxes and
bunnies, the shotty was good for the bunnies and a nice 20x weaver scope on
VERY solid mounts set for about 200m made an ideal fox gun, the principal
being that foxes tend to run for about 200 meters when you scare them and
they then stop, prop and look around. BANG!! and you have a $30 pelt. :-)
