Description: Mission Systems seeks a Cyber Counterintelligence (CI) Technical Analyst for the DOE Counterintelligence Directorate/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Counterintelligence (ODNCI), located in Washington DC. Candidate will be an integral part of the DOE Counterintelligence Directorate/NNSA ODNCI mission activities to detect, deter, and neutralize technological threats against DOE/NNSA personnel, facilities, and information systems from foreign intelligence services and terrorist organizations. Provide integrated CI cyber-technical expertise supporting the DOE Counterintelligence Directorate, Cyber Division through the conduct of cyber investigations, cyber analytical activities, evaluation of information/technical/physical security systems and practices, and related duties. Identify, investigate and analyze cyber events of CI significance; adapt and develop tools for applying standard cyber security and analysis practices to the CI mission; and perform all source intelligence analysis to determine and report on characteristics of various systems/issues and other project/program objectives. Analyze classified and unclassified networks to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters; report changes, trends and implications of evolving issues; collect data, analyze results, and prepare reports relating to project/program objectives; integrate research results and analysis into operations; and establish liaison with DOE/NNSA offices including Security and Information Systems, the US Intelligence Community and law enforcement agencies. The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: *Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-11 years of related work experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. *Computer and network security, operational understanding of WAN and IP addressing. *Cyber investigations and use of cyber forensics analysis tools. *Subject matter expertise in cyber analysis and its relationship within the counterintelligence domain *Knowledge of the mission, structure and key intelligence programs of the USIC. *Excellent writing and briefing skills; strong communication skills; ability to operate independently and work as part of a team. *Current TS clearance with SCI access. *Must currently have or be able to obtain DOE Q clearance, successful CI-scope polygraph
