Steel has an immediate opening for a Manager, Professional Recruiting in the Human Resource Department, located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and managing recruiting programs to support the corporations efforts to recruit talent throughout North America. Responsibilities include: * Establish relationships with and work closely with HR/ER recruiters, independent search firms, military recruiting, and technical/trade schools. * Manage, track, and report costs against the budget. * Supervise HQ recruiter(s) and coordinators to ensure effective and accurate reporting and tracking of all the HQ hiring needs. * Responsible for the overall coordination/reporting of the HQ recruiting efforts to ensure effective and accurate reporting and tracking of the HQ hiring needs. * Maintain required information and reports relative to overall HR recruiting (collegiate, experience, internal/external, etc.) * Responsible for overall administrative tasks relative to HR recruiting efforts. * Implement effective customer relationship management mechanisms with P&L. * Represent interests of the D, I, & R Office in matters relating to corporate recruiting. * Plan for and work with Manager, Talent Communications regarding advertising budget that supports recruiting efforts. * Conduct research, initiate contact and establish relationship with colleges, programs (Inroads) and community activities that support the effort to hire diverse talent. * Conduct research and recommend participation in applicable career fairs that are targeted to candidates with diverse backgrounds. * Responsible to ensure career fairs and other relevant collegiate activities have been scheduled and effectively coordinated. * Support the planning and development of ways the NA recruiting program can positively affect the hiring of represented employees. * Work with D&I recruiting department intern(s). * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Requirements * Bachelors degree * 5-8 years of experience in recruiting, building successful relationships with senior level clients. * Significant recruiting experience at a Fortune 500 company. * Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills to work at all levels of the organization. * Strong project management skills. * Strong communications skills (written, oral, and presentation). * Strong customer focus * Results oriented and metrics driven * Ability to travel 30-40%% of the time. Preferred Requirements * Masters degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field. * 8-10 years of experience in recruiting.
