Description: Consults with end users to analyze product and service needs, resolve production problems and identify technology changes or enhancements to existing front-end: and/or back-end application systems. Assists end users and/or project team with the development of business requirements for various LOBs. Collaborates with other analysts and PNC technical areas to determine the best solution to meet LOB needs and participates in the design and implementation of application system and technology improvements. Independently documents functional specifications for technical and non-technical areas within PNC for small to medium size projects involving changes to existing application systems or minor changes in technology or business process. Independently develops test requirements and assists with the development of test plans for small to medium size projects. Performs systems testing, quality assurance testing and validates test results. May work with LOBs and/or market representatives to identify and resolve testing issues. Provides input to Corporate LOBs (i.e. Corporate Branch Operations, Corporate Bank Operations, Corporate Training, etc.) for the development of policy and procedures documents and reviews documents for technical accuracy and consistency. Supports users during the implementation of new application systems or new technology as well as enhancements to existing systems or technology improvements. Also provides ongoing support to resolve application system or technology related problems. Provides technical and/or functional advice regarding the prioritization of maintenance requests. Works to ensure the ongoing integrity of Corporate application systems and the consistent an effective use of technology. Reviews trade publications and other related materials, attends seminars and raining classes and participates in user groups in order to keep informed on new banking products and/or services as well as new technologies. Performs other staff support activities as requested by a Group Manager.
