ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To map customer business requirements to technical solutions and provide technical leadership to the implementation of these solutions. An individual contributor position responsible for the overall design and technical oversight of complex business initiatives in customer consulting/interface engagements. This responsibility typically spans all layers of the business infrastructure interfaces with the account customer and customer executive management to define requirements and recommend solutions. The Architect works closely with the Account Management Team. This position will be on the AT&T team and can be located in Somerset, NJ MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Efficient Oral and Written skills. Presentation Skills. Customer interface skills. Ability to Work within a Virtual Team REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Participates in customer engagement planning and supporting sales efforts. Architecture role supporting Sales Campaigns. Reviews and influences existing customer strategic goals. Collects and prioritizes customer requirements with the customer. Articulates alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist. Assists the Project Manager in the creation of technical project plans,and assist in assembling Sun teams for customer engagements. Quality Assurance audits. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE: Deep and broad technical knowledge of Sun products and solutions and the overall IT environment. Knowledge of competitive environment and alternative technology solutions / approaches. Extensive technical knowledge within a specified domain (e.g., system design and implementation, application architecture etc). YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10-15 MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: BBA, BS, or Equivalent Experience FIELD OF STUDY: Computer Science, Mathematics ADDITIONAL COURSE WORK: Business
