Description: Information Assurance Analyst I Tracking Code 214883-699 Job Description Under supervision, the Information Assurance Analyst I provides technical and programmatic Information Assurance Services to internal and external customers in support of network and information security systems. Assists in the design, development and implementation of security requirements within an organizations business processes. Obtains detailed information on customers information systems and systems documentation. Assists in the preparation of documentation, such as DITSCAP (DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process), from customer obtained information. May participate in the preparation of draft Security Test and Evaluation plans. Works closely with customer staff to ensure information assurance requirements are documented and verified. Assists in establishing processes consistent with customer guidelines. Provides certification and accreditation support for system certification and accreditation process. Assists with securing system configurations and installing security tools. Participates in the development of strategies to comply with privacy, risk management, and e-authentication requirements. Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements. Assists in the performance of vulnerability assessments. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within assigned area. Performs a variety of routine tasks. Relies on standard guidelines to accomplish goals.

The contractor shall provide expertise for secure communications for engineering, technical support, assistance in market research and acquisition management, preparation for fielding and urgent fielding requirements, communications security, and systems integration engineering to support IA initiatives. These services shall be provided in support of the projects / programs identified in paragraph 1.1 of this PWS through all phases from development to testing and fielding. The contractor shall assist IA personnel in performing the following subtasks:

3.1.1 Provide a full array of engineering, logistics and program support services in support of the IA security projects for the CM PMO customers.

3.1.2 Provide assistance reviewing technical and program documentations related to IA projects/programs, provide assistance in recommendations and/or comments for revision and updates.

3.1.3 Support laboratory and/or on site testing, systems engineering, and integration. The contractor shall also be able to provide configuration management, initiate configuration management control and conduct logistics planning. Assist in generating Information System Network architectures and hardware and software design.

3.1.4 Develop data and rationale to insure that COMSEC policy, plans, programs, budgets and life cycle material management is directed toward fully coordinated and effective programs.

3.1.5 The contractor shall identify technological opportunities, technical constraints and organizational impacts that should be considered in the formulation of Network Security design architecture and operational concepts.

3.1.6 The contractor shall provide technical information, guidance and program management support to the CM PMO customers who are developing systems requiring secure communication applications and apparatus.

3.1.7 The contractor shall coordinate the development and processing of military requirements and technical standards related to the application of GOTS/COTS (Government Off-The-Shelf / Commercial Off-The-Shelf) security products.

3.1.8 The contractor shall support software/hardware system integration, test and evaluation necessary to accomplish assigned tasks. All acquired and manufactured material shall be in accordance with paragraphs 3.1.1.1, 3.1.1.2, 3.1.1.3 and 3.2.4.5 of the basic S3 PWS. The COR or Contracting Officer shall approve the purchase of all materials/ODCs that will be required in support of the program. Only materials that are in support of the service of this task shall be acquired.

3.1.9 The contractor shall assist in conducting market research for hardware and software COTS/GOTS network products for Network Intrusion detection, Customer Usage, Audit trails, Denial of Services, Attack Alert and other applications for administration of electronics ISS (Internet Security Systems) functions, and shall coordinate for and develop hardware and software to support Information Storage Purge Tools and Security Management Systems.

3.1.10 The contractor shall provide logistic management support to include expertise in acquisition strategy and planning, CDRL data package, logistics readiness preparation and develop urgent logistic support concepts.

3.1.11 The contractor shall provide administrative support to include equipment control, assistance in conference and IPT, preparing briefing material, graphic design/support and project planning in support of the CM PMO.

3.1.12 The contractor shall provide technical information, guidance and program management support to the Key Management team. The Key Management team is developing systems requiring Key Management Infrastructure (KMI).

3.1.13 The contractor shall coordinate with NSA and developers for High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) implementation.

Travel sites anticipated to be are: Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Albuquerque, NM; Las Vegas, NV; Ft. Gordon, GA; Los Angeles, CA; and Ft. Hood, TX.
