Position Purpose: The individual will work directly with the Head of U.S. Hedge Fund Team to perform Sales Trading function for designated Institutional Accounts. Key Accountabilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Solicit business through value added dialogue with Buy-side trading clients. 2) Value added input includes: . Dissemination of research information to clients; . Marketing order flow; . Attend and coordinate selective client engagements to solicit RBC products and services; . Work with research, sales, market making, and investment banking to raise Firm exposure to our client base. 3) Remain apprised of industry trends and cycles and provide feedback to clients. 4) Receive buy-side orders and facilitate order execution. Managerial Excellence . Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals. . Understands and executes RBC Client first initaitve. . Series 7, 55, & 63 Licensed . BA, MA or MS or equivalent with an in-depth understanding of Equity Capital Markets . Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint . Strong written and oral communication skills .
