Job Description & Experience: This is a part-time position Responsibilities: Training professionals and the public on sudden unexpected infant and child death, safe sleep awareness, shaken baby syndrome, and bereavement Supporting those affected by these deaths through telephone outreach and telephone, individual, and group counseling Accurate and timely record keeping of all telephone, professional, and community contacts Educating the community on sudden infant death risk reduction and revising existing curriculum Qualifications: Required: BA with minimum of three years experience Bilingual in Spanish Experience in counseling and community education Able to possess experience and demonstrate knowledge of the bereavement process Strong public speaking and writing skills Proficient in Word, Publisher, and Excel Preferred: Graduate Degree (such as: MPH, MSN, MSW or equivalent) with experience in community outreach and education For more information about working at Public Health Solutions and to apply for this position, visit our website at www.healthsolutions.org.
