Job Description WRKS inNew Yorkis searching for highly motivated, positive, successful sales persons to join their staff. Successful candidate must possess a desire to win, ability to lead and have a savvy business sense. Account Executive will report to the Local Sales Manager and General Sales Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent a major market radio station to clients and advertising agencies in the tri-state area, enhance existing accounts, develop new business, sell special event, promotional marketing opportunities and "integrated" sales programs, as well as traditional selling. REQUIREMENTS include, but are not limited to: * Sales experience required. Conceptual selling a plus. * Experience calling on direct clients and generating new business. * An understanding of developmental sales work - "direct to customer selling". *Track record of sales success. *Ability to manage a budget and hit goals. * Excellent written and oral communications skills. *Attention to detail - ability to meet deadlines. *Internet savvy. *College degree preferred. *MS Office, PowerPoint skills. *Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of NYC market a plus * A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record is required if you will be using an automobile for business.
