Description HOT 97 FALL 2008 INTERN RECRUITMENT WQHT HOT 97 (WQHT 97.1), New Yorks #1 HIP HOP radio station,is pleased to announce the availability of internships in the Programming Department.The candidates must be responsible and enthusiastic students, who are able to intern during the Fall of 2008 and receive school credit. The Programming Department is very fast-paced environment and will provide the student with hands-on experience in radio. Interns will assist in the daily routines of programming a station, including participating in music meetings, helping with the format book, distributing the play list, assisting on-air jocks/ DJS, as well as other administrative duties. Students should be available to work 3-4 days a week, with reasonably flexible hours. HOT 97 is the #1 radio station WHERE HIP HOP LIVES, and for those students interested in radio this will be a great opportunity.
