Posting Job Title WIP Supervisor (Flushing) (*CB) TimeWarner Division Time Warner Cable Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 88548BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Essential Job Functions Will be expected to supervise the activities of Technical Support/WIP Representatives; hire, evaluate, discipline, coach, monitor, and train; monitor payments and adjustments; conduct staff meetings regularly, including daily updates with team; implement policies/procedures; handle customer inquiries and escalations, and assures resolution; monitor telephone communications with customers to ensure accuracy; develop work schedules and delegate work assignments; update and monitor attendance on a daily/weekly basis; interaction with other departments to ensure proper resolution of problems; collect and analyze data using reports to improve productivity and quality; assist and provide support to Technical Support Manager; participate in regular calibration meetings with QA and training groups; attend inter-department meetings, as necessary; other duties as assigned. Job Requirements/Qualifications Must have a Bachelors degree (preferred). Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of OMSE, ACSR-T, NSM and advanced troubleshooting tools offered by TWC. Must have a comprehensive understanding of all departments policies and procedures, including standards for quality assurance and productivity. Must possess strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines. Must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, face-to-face, and over the telephone with customers, co-workers, contractors and vendors. Must be able to use a PC (knowledge of software programs), as well as a computer terminal to maintain customer records, exchange equipment, and obtain or retrieve data for reporting purposes. Must be able to perform mathematical calculations necessary to complete various subscriber-tracking reports/billing questions. Must have the ability to process information accurately in order to follow directions and provide directions to others. Must be a team player. Must possess strong leadership skills. Must be flexible and adaptable to change. Must have outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude. Must be able to make decisions and use proper judgment.
