Description: Posting Job Title Web Developer, Operations - truTV TimeWarner Division Turner Broadcasting Industry Advertising Cable/Broadcast Television Networks Online Content/Services Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 105133BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of web development using PHP, ASP.NET, C#, ASP Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Minimum 2 years of experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, MySQL Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft IIS or Apache web servers in production environment. Understanding of HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS protocols. Minimum 1 year experience with XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, CSS B.S. in Computer Science or related fields of study. Self-motivation, quick learner, open to learning new technologies, good communication skills. Desirable: Knowledge of Interwoven TeamSite and Perl programming language, experience with version control systems (CVS/Subversion) Duties: Implement and maintain SharePoint-based TruTV / InSession Corporate intranet portal, division sites and collaboration workspaces. Develop custom webparts using ASP.NET, update page layouts to user requirements. Develop new applications for truTV Online group and other departments for public web sites as well as for internal use (PHP, MySQL, ASP.NET, MS SQL). Maintain and support existing external/internal web-based applications and corporate intranet. CMS workflows and template development, modification and testing; system configuration for Interwoven TeamSite CMS (XML, Perl) Help maintain Web Farm and hosting network in a heavily loaded production environment. Manage external/internal web servers running on Microsoft (MS IIS, ASP, ASP.NET, MS SQL, MS SharePoint) and LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL) platforms. Work with hosting provider and IT group to troubleshoot and resolve all issues. Integrate web properties with Turner systems; and various vendor systems: web statistics service, banner ad systems, video hosting and management service, content delivery networks and etc. Participate in project meetings with clients and work with other developers as well as project managers/business analysts to gather requirements.
