The ideal candidate must have visual design experience, along with a solid knowledge of CSS and HTML/ DHTML. The Designer works effectively and efficiently across internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to create a range of designs for each project and be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong written and oral communication skills. Job Responsibilities: .Designs Mocks for Custom Communities for MySpace Advertisers during the Pre-Sales process by partnering with Creative Producers and clients. .Designs and produces multiple Custom Community projects with features and innovative solutions. .Manages multiple deliverables on-time with high-quality client solutions. .Match client objectives to creative execution and solutions to support their goals. Articulate campaign branding and design to Creative Producer internally. .Partner internally with members of the Sales Design Team, Creative Producers and Technical Developers to achieve project goals. .Proactively makes suggestions for business best practices and process improvements. .Acts as a Subject Matter Expert/ SME for multiple areas, and develops and delivers training workshops in these specialized areas. .When possible, mentors Designers who are not as experienced at the company by working with the AD in customizing a plan to enhance their skills. .Acts with diplomacy and tact across teams and sends status updates to management. .Manages special projects upon request by tracking progress and reviewing factors which affect schedules. Present options to internal and/or external client with positive tone and strategic approach. Designer Qualifications: .2-3 years web experience and formal design training, preferably in an online media environment/ creative agency working with external clients. .Solid knowledge of CSS, XHTML and Mac OS (AJAX/DHTML and hand-coding are strong assets) and the capabilities of Web browsers is essential .Knowledge of Rich Media Advertising .Knowledge of interactive design concepts, wireframes and user-flow diagrams .Knowledge and interest in promotions for the video games/ entertainment industries .Knowledge of typographical, print, motion graphic, and interaction design skills. .Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash are required (Actionscript knowledge being a strong asset). .An understanding of information architecture & hierarchy .Solid footing on the line between creative expression and commercial reality .Strong attention to detail, and willing to give a pixel here or there. .Strong organization and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and changing needs. .Team player and positive role model with leaderships skills. .Client relationship management skills. .Creative problem-solver. .Strong written and verbal communications skills. .Strong attention to detail. .Training development and facilitation skills. .Presentation skills to internal and external teams. .Experience using PPT, Excel, Word, and Visio an asset.
