Req Number:81453 Location(s): New York NY Responsibilities: Looking for artistic, tech-savvy individual with experience in web-site design to build out and maintain an internal web 2.0 portal aimed at the Design and Development community across Mattel. Key aspects of the job focus on an understanding of the following major content types: RSS Feeds, Flash/Shockwave animation files, blogging platforms, networked databases, audio files, text and images. Responsibilities: - Creation of WebPages as well as content entry, take-down and ongoing maintenance. - Creation of online database information (associating meta data, adhering to naming convention, etc) will also be a significant part of the job (up to 40%%) - Creating multimedia PowerPoint presentations for senior level management. - Communication with key contributors to the portal across Mattels various divisions. Requirements: Skills: - Currently pursing a Bachelors Degree in Web Design, Web Development, Media Arts or related field - Proficient with Windows applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc), Dreamweaver and Shockwave/Flash - Some html programming experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skill - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals of all levels throughout the organization - Database creation experience preferred. - Strong artistic/technical proficiency preferred. - Graphics user interface experience preferred - Mac familiarity helpful Mattel is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
