Develop and maintain high quality software solutions . Design and develop Web 2.0 application components for a high-volume and high-availability application. . Contribute to architectural/design feasibility discussions, prototype development and code reviews. . Stay abreast of the latest developments in Enterprise and open source technologies; share knowledge with the team and propose adoption of new technology. . Write high-quality code and related documentation, perform unit testing and adhere to standard software development process. . Participate on cross-functional development/integration projects requiring interaction with end-users and external technology partners. . Assist the team in supporting the application in QA and production environments. . Conduct technical analysis and performance tuning . Evaluate new technologies . Respond to market demands communicated by photo agency and photographer clients. . Work with the other engineers on software to meet the customer demands and provide customer satisfaction. . Spearhead the development of next generation photography rich websites. Innovate, Create, and Apply. Job Requirements . 5+ years of experience in website development and database driven websites. . Proficiency in HTML, Javascript and CSS . Expert knowledge of AJAX type applications and json. . BAMP or LAMP development environment. . Familiarity with Protoype/Scriptaculous, CMS apps, PERL (Mod Perl), MySQL, and Apache based applications a plus SysAdmin fundamentals . Knowledge of cross-browser limitations and work-arounds, including strong MAC familiarity. . Strong email, instant messenger, phone and interpersonal communication . Technical background in either website production or web applications with customer relationships Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop . Able to manage multiple projects both small and large in scope . Flash data interaction a plus . Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment . A demonstrated excellence in problem solving and debugging software applications . Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills . Strong analytic skills Key Skills/Competencies .
