Description:
Responsibilities of the VP - Tax Manager include:
- Coordinating a tax review of approximately 800 portfolio companies
- Analyzing and reviewing private equity structures and tax strategies for new and prospective clients
- Reviewing quarterly and yearly tax estimates including annual K-1s and tax returns
- Ensuring all tax filings and information for client investors are completed and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Participating in prospective client meetings
- Analyzing tax pricing and service models for prospective and existing clients
- Interacting and servicing various constituents
- Coordinating with outside accountants, legal counsel and third party investors
- Reviewing and assisting in the resolution of federal, state and local tax notices
Required Skills:
- 7-12 years of public and/or private tax experience with some alternative asset experience
- Background in client service, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and international and partnership tax
- Proficiency in CCH Pro System and Go System software
