Job Description: The Vice President, SEO has responsibilities supporting search engine optimization activities and overall strategy through planning, executing, reporting, data analysis, and project management. The role will oversee all tactical aspects of SN_Digitals SEO offering including strategic planning, performance reporting, resourcing and growth management. This individual serves as the principle SEO expert for the organization. Specific Responsibilities: . Manage and optimize successful SEO campaigns major search engines . Collaborate across business teams to set SEO strategies and goals . Provide and create detailed analysis documents to trend performance . Participate in senior staff presentations and serve as a subject matter expert on SEO . Provide ongoing management of all campaigns including reporting, analysis and optimization recommendations . Continually monitor the search landscape, and work with search directors to develop new product offerings . Manage SEO staff, develop ongoing training and development. Oversee development of SN_Digital training content specific to SEO . Understand search engine optimization strategies, the search engine landscape, and the effectiveness of internal campaigns . Maintain a high level of professionalism internally, and in representing SN_Digital departmentally . Oversee program strategies/proposals for existing sites, as well as new business analysis and strategic planning . Develop documentation of processes, strategies, and new initiatives . Proactively resolve sales or internal questions or conflicts . Proactively work with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues and actively seek new opportunities . Provide strategic guidance in conjunction with SN_Digitals search marketing team, and proactively work with team management towards developing services, processes as it compliments search marketing . Oversee ongoing training of new employees and existing team . Periodic submission of case studies & whitepapers to interactive ad sales and internal teams Experience and Education Requirements: . Bachelors Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university . 6-8 years SEO specific industry experience . Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening, and team work skills . Accurate and current product knowledge for an array of products and services . Excellent organizational and multitasking skills . Ability to manage a heavy workload, to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment . Ability to think about accounts and prospects strategically . Proficient in MS Office specifically: Excel, PowerPoint, Word (and Access preferred) . Solid understanding of web analytics tools . High achievement / results orientation . Must be able to demonstrate previous ability to improve SEO program performance through ongoing optimization techniques . Web development experience is a plus .
