Description: Posting Job Title Video Editor - HBO TimeWarner Division HBO Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 85370BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Position reports to the Director of Post-Production and will interface with technical supervisors of editorial. Candidate must have a minimum of five years creative Avid editorial in a commercial or broadcast facility. Expertise in analog, digital and HD tape formats; on-line and off-line editorial; server-based technology and video processing is essential. A thorough knowledge of non-linear audio mixing techniques and graphic composition is also required. Proficiency in AfterEffects, Photoshop, Sapphire and other software plug-ins as well as Symphony Nitris HD is preferred. Experience in Final Cut Pro is a plus. Candidate must have a propensity for servicing clients and flexibility in exceeding their demands through strong interpersonal skills. Experience in managing projects at the producer level for promotion, marketing and sports programming is preferred. Shift work is mandatory. Applicant must be available to work last minute overtime and weekends. The position will be in the IBEW union.
