Responsibilities: * Daily p/l and position review and formulating risk based explanations to significant changes. * Analyze Operations and P&L related statistics to identify control gaps and/process break-downs * Reviewing policies and methodologies to ensure that they are adequately addressing current business risk profile. * Establish Control policies and standards for all Front to Back controls * Conducting review and controls around transactions booked including front to back controls * Liaise with the trading desk to discuss front to back control gaps, providing and implementing improvements * Conducting analysis in risk and p/l impact and providing commentary to senior management Qualifications: * Relevant experience of 10-15 yrs (e.g. Valuation Control, Product Control). * Good understanding of equity derivatives products * Managerial and leadership skills; detail oriented and strong organizational skills * Sound knowledge in control and in depth understanding of broker dealers processes and systems * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain issues in a systematic and logical manner. Also, be able to communicate to people of different levels. * Independent self-starter to identify problems and issues, and drive to resolve issues down to the root cause * Strong team player; ability to work across functional and organizational boundaries and build business relationships
