Position Purpose: Primary responsibilities: The primary roles of this position will be to support the GAT and Muni GiC businesses Key Accountabilities: Responsibilities: Perform daily P/L analysis and reconciliations working closely with the individual traders on a day to day basis to understand the products and the systems that support the various inventories. Understand the systems/procedural flows and make recommendations for process change and improvement as necessary Support the Manager of the team in any special products or analytical surveys that may need to be undertaken Participate in the implementation of the SOPHIS system, understanding the system flows, testing outputs and confirming the teams readiness to implement. Ascertain that all required balance sheet reconciliation are performed daily. Interface with Financial Controllers and Performance Management Analysts as necessary. Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Specifications: The individual should have direct product control experience in equities and fixed income businesses and be familiar with the daily P/L function. The individual must be able to interface with traders and must possess a high working knowledge of capital market products and the intellect and ambition to continue to oversee additional products that will support our growth in the future. The individual should have a BA in Finance, with 5 years of experience.
