Description:
Responsibilities for the Vice President of Tax Planning Group include:

- Providing advice to a private equity group of investment bank in New York, London and Asia
- Providing U.S. and foreign tax advice on the structure, operation, and liquidation of private equity funds, mezzanine funds, and fund-of-funds in multiple jurisdictions
- Advising on tax-efficient structures of complex multi-national corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, refinancing and reorganizations
- Reviewing corporate and financial documents and tax opinions
- Evaluating various transactions and tax strategies and the organization and operation of the firm’s Luxembourg office
- Interacting with other departments on day to day operational issues

Required Skills:
- 3-7 years of experience
- New York State Bar Admission
- Experience advising and executing mergers, stock and asset acquisitions
- Masters degree in Taxation
