Opportunity Summary: LRN is seeking a dynamic, seasoned, and resourceful Senior Sales Executive who can effectively and strategically grow and lead a team to manage large multimillion-dollar accounts and sell at the C-level to Fortune 50 customers and prospects. The focus of this position is selling enterprise-wide solutions (500k +) designed to train the workforce in business critical legal and ethics issues. The ideal candidate will also be expected to increase penetration of the most strategically important accounts.
Essential Job Functions: Build and lead a team that will: . Focus sales efforts and establish relationships with C Level Executives in Law, Compliance, ethics and HR departments of Fortune 50 corporations or those deemed as strategic accounts to LRN. . Close contracts and ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction with LRNs products and services. . Responsible for detailed planning, forecasting, projections and plan implementation as well as problem analysis and resolution at a strategic and functional level. . Ability to develop a strategic account plan, manage and deploy resources to execute plan. . Identify opportunities, target new clients and establish new corporate accounts, cultivate new relationships and consult with corporate partners to develop customized strategic programs.
Qualifications and Experience: . Lead a strong team of senior business development executives. . 15 + years sales experience and regarded as a market leader in his/her field. . Extensive experience selling to the C Level executive at Fortune 500 companies. . Previous success overseeing budget and P&L. . Successfully achieved personal sales quota of $5-$10 million per year. . A proven track record in general management, business development, marketing, sales and delivery of value-added services. . Worked for a world-class company whose reputation will complement the success and credibility of LRN. . Prior successful experience running national sales organization with professional services, eCommerce, B2B, ASP, ERP, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), system integration, software licensing etc. . Significant conceptual and consultative sales experience. . Exceptional communications and presentation skills a must. . Actively embrace the companys mission-based culture and find appropriate vehicles to communicate it so it is understood, appreciated and embraced by external audiences.
Education: . Bachelors Degree required; JD and MBA highly desired.
