Through its Financial Communications division, it is a leading provider of print and digital communications solutions for the financial services industry offering banks, funds and brokerages the high-impact marketing materials, financial education products, and electronic tools they need to successfully attract and retain customers. %%0A %%0A The VP/Group Publisher of Business will be responsible for the leadership of McGraw-Hill Professional's global core (print) and digital Business enterprise. The VP/Group Publisher will have overall responsibility for Business print and digital content strategy, technology execution, in addition to financial and P&L responsibility for the business.%%0A %%0A Essential responsibilities include:%%0A%%0A * Set the content vision, strategy, and creative direction for Professional's Business publishing program (encompassing businesses, finance, health, self-help and FC)%%0A * Identify and initiate partnerships and strategic alliances to expand product development of new product formats, ideas, and innovative approaches across the organization%%0A * Position the digital Business vision and strategy by identifying product opportunities, and executing that strategy through new products and solutions%%0A * Identify new channels and partnerships for distribution of digital content and lead the organization in identifying 'digital-first" solutions%%0A * Integrate digital content strategy with content development strategy of core (print) team by leveraging existing digital products and services%%0A * Explore and set the vision for new digital models, technologies and media%%0A * Manage multi-year strategic plan to ensure sustainable revenue and profit growth%%0A * Analyze, review, and approve pricing models across the domestic and global organization%%0A * Articulate the business vision and represent Professional's interest globally%%0A * Spearhead efforts to acquire global authors and contributors%%0A * Partner with key McGraw-Hill franchises such as Standard & Poor's and BusinessWeek%%0A%%0A %%0A %%0A * Significant publishing experience, preferably in business and investing content%%0A * Experience in both print and digital publishing%%0A * Strong analytical, product development, management, communication, and financial skills%%0A * Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage collaboration across internal departments%%0A * Ability to conceptualize. communicate, and execute strategy%%0A * Thorough understanding of book publishing procedures%%0A * An undergraduate degree, MBA preference%%0A%%0A The McGraw-Hill Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
