Description: Travel Counselor AutoReqId 106761BR Responsibilities As a Corporate Travel Counselor, you will be working in a fast-paced, high volume on-site with a dedicated client; Timely and accurate air/car/rail/hotel reservations consisting of both complex international and domestic itineraries; Providing consultative travel options within company guidelines; Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must; Maintain client relations as well as office, client, and American Express departmental goals. Required Qualifications Our Travel Counselors/Travel Agents must have a passion to serve their clients and surpass client expectations. This is a full time position requiring a minimum of 5 years Corporate Travel experience, 3 of which must have been international. Both written and oral communication skills are critical to this position. Must be highly proficient in international travel. In depth working knowledge of back office procedures, exchanges, voids, refunds, ticket issuance, debit memos and resolution of customer service issues are a must. Extreme accuracy and quality throughout reservation process; CURRENT working knowledge of Sabre GDS is required; Successful candidate must also be highly organized, able to work independently in a high call volume atmosphere, able to multi-task, have high touch customer servicing skills.
