Description: Thought Leadership Sector Consultant Job Description PwCs Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firms priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm. Primary responsibility of this role is to provide research, writing and editing expertise for the content of Thought Leadership publications. LOS and Sector Consultants will support the development of Thought Leadership of LOS and Sectors while Macro-economic Fellows focus on issues that are not owned by any line/sector or is a key topic across several lines/sectors. Responsibilities TL Function: A Thought Leadership Consultant will - Assist in the development of Thought Leadership publications Perform complex secondary research and analysis Present research findings succinctly, both verbally and in written form, to partners, thought leaders, and project team, as needed Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (both within the Firm and outside the Firm) on complex issues Draft original manuscripts of articles, white papers, position papers, correspondence, speeches, talking points, presentations, book chapters, and Web content Review manuscripts, to uphold observance of quality standards, to check facts and sources, to ensure consistency of writing style Communicate and work with subject matter experts in the Firm to elicit or assist in the development of distinctive points of view on various strategic issues Use available resources within the Firm wisely to perform responsibilities efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner Edit manuscripts, as needed Participate in brainstorming and editing sessions with partners, industry sector leaders, LOS leaders and thought leaders, as appropriate Assist in the preparation of materials that promote effective use of the thought leadership publication (how-to-use kit) Service IFS Industry Not Applicable Office New York NY Years Experience Required 5+ Education Required Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required (Degree in marketing or business writing or marketing/sales background preferred) Job Requirement Essential Minimum 5 years work experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Skilled in Microsoft Office products Experience with publishing tools, a plus Travel Required 0-20%% Type of Position Full Time Comments
