STRUCTURE Initially the position will be offered on an on-site freelance basis from date of hire until December 2008. Opportunity for permanent employment including full benefits will be offered in January 2009 based on performance. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: . Contribute to and complete ad spec worksheets for proposals and enter online advertising proposals into Atlas and MediaVisor for clients and internal Solbright system for Ad Ops . Coordinate internal processing of insertion orders, and keep file of insertion orders by account manager . Brainstorm creatively in a team atmosphere for the development of advertiser proposals in conjunction with Sales Development team and Account Managers . Become an integral part to Product Development: Brainstorm custom solutions, create mock ups and design solutions as well as help compile Sales presentations . Lead implementation process from start to finish (entering new deals into Solbright, getting IOs signed and countersigned, acquiring creative ad tags, getting final approval to launch and managing/optimizing the media plan) . Support preparation for the Weekly Ad Ops Meeting . Help to develop and update all sales materials and packages . Manage contact database for account managers and coordinate the distribution of strategic mailings . Act as a back-up (live contact) for sales team when out of the office . Complete and process monthly expense reports for account managers . Become proficient with all Time Inc. internal online resources (i.e. Consumer Marketing Research, Solbright, Salesforce, AdRelevance, DART).
QUALIFICATIONS: Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked at an ad driven website or interactive agency. Candidate must be team player and enjoy working with team. An extremely proactive, organized, detail oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills (oral and written). Must be able to work under pressure, switch gears quickly in order to respond to staff and customer requests with efficiency. Needs excellent computer skills -- PC Windows, MWord, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook proficiency. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency is considered a plus.
